The registration link for all artists wishing to participate or vend will be up soon.

This is the first year we invite males to apply to paint but please know reservations work on a first come first serve basis with limited spacing and priority to female artists first.

All donations proceeds will go directly to the collective to cover expenses for the event.

This year we did not have any major grants or contributions to help us with the event but we are working our magic to try and throw an amazing free event to the public. If you would like to donate to our cause we gladly accept any donations online.  The date, time and location are set so we hope to see you there!

artivism

artivism

We are extremely honored to have been awarded a grant by The California Endowment last year.

The #health4all, Artivism grant allowed us to campaign for Health Equity through public art and community engagement. Our projects involved youth and community at large in the following cities of

Fresno in the Calwa community, Visalia during Queens of Style, and Taste the Arts festivals, at the Avenal Vota block party, and in Richgrove with the creation of a 4,000 sq ft mural.

Working with Cal Endow also allowed us to collaborate and build partnerships with other grantees throughout California. As a result, we were able to share our work in Sacramento, Merced, Riverside, and San Diego.

We had such a blast, we re-applied to continue #health4all Artivism in 2019. Award is pending, wish us luck :)

Thank YOU all for supporting Urbanists Collective throughout the years, and especially in 2018!

We also want to thank, Arts Consortium for your five wonderful years of fiscal sponsorship.

With your generous donations and support, we have been able to establish ourselves as a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization, not only serving the Central Valley but also regions of northern and southern California. You have provided independence, hope, and joy every day to our team and youth in need. We look forward to sharing stories about the life-changing work

your support helps us achieve.

We are proud to announce our new establishment,

DSGN Co-Creative Studio in the city of Lindsay, located inside of Veritas Art Center.

Our co-creative studio will be working closely with Lindsay Unified School District in helping students explore new creative career avenues. We invite you to our opening party on March 02, 2019 from 12-4pm located at 248. N. Sweetbriar Ave, where you will have a chance to meet our team and enjoy some snacks and refreshments.

In the city of Hanford, we are currently in the process of obtaining a second co-creative studio where the students of Hanford School District will be joining us. Stay tuned for all that we have planned!

Our collaborative efforts in Visalia are currently on hold until we can find a place of establishment.  In Visalia, we have plans to build our co-creative studio from the ground up. This unique center was designed by the founder of the organization in hopes of attracting attention to the need for art centers in the Valley. If you would like to support us, we greatly appreciate any financial assistance we can receive!

DSGN is 100% donation supported. There are currently no grants in place but we welcome donations at any amount. A crowdfunding campaign is currently in the works.

Upaint? art shop

We are excited to announce our online store launching soon! UPaint? will have a variety of art supplies for sale for all your artistic needs. Our DSGN students will gain first-hand experience in managing an online business. In some cases, from the design table, all the way through to counter sales.

All while engaging them in activities that will help them as future professional artists.  All proceeds from the sales will help support our co-creative studio, with the hopes of expanding DSGN Co Worker Studio into other cities!
