Queens of Style is an Urbanists Collective signature event—a vibrant fusion of live graffiti art, music, entertainment, art vendors, and massive collaborative murals. What makes this event unique is our partnership with organizations serving women and girls, turning a simple gathering into a dynamic platform for empowerment, creativity, and community.

Sparked by the idea of reimagining traditional resource fairs, Queens of Style transforms them into exciting, fun, and engaging experiences that actually attract young people. Instead of pamphlets and booths alone, youth are immersed in a celebration of art, culture, and opportunities—all designed to inspire and connect.

Queens of Style is made possible entirely through donations and grants. Your support ensures that we can continue to create this one-of-a-kind space where young women can see themselves represented, uplifted, and celebrated. Please consider donating any amount and note “QOS” in your comments. Together, let’s make history once again and inspire young women everywhere.

QOS was presented from 2016 - 2019 but was forced to took a pause during the pandemic years. We are currently preparing for a return in Washington State. TBA :)

DEAR FANS

We take great pride in having co-curated the Visalia Taste the Arts festival from 2010 to 2018, in partnership with the Arts Consortium and the City of Visalia.

Over the years, this vibrant celebration has not only legitimized urban-influenced artwork but also bridged local communities with skilled art professionals from across the nation.

For Urbanists Collective, one of the most rewarding outcomes has been seeing emerging urban artists—many of whom had long been overlooked—gain recognition and opportunities to share their voices on a larger stage. Witnessing their growth has been truly heartening and central to our mission.

Unfortunately, with the sale of the Lumberyard and the new development not offering URBANISTS  a space, we announce that we will no longer be part of the festival and we have parted ways with the Arts Consortium. We remain deeply grateful for your steadfast support through the years.

One love.

HAAPA 2020
Cultural Mural Festival – Corning, CA

In 2020, Urbanists Collective had the honor of curating the HAAPA Cultural Mural Festival in Corning, California, made possible through the partnership and generous support of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the festival brought together Native and Indigenous artists from across California to celebrate and share the vibrant Nomlaki culture through public art. Together, we transformed community spaces with murals that honor heritage, resilience, and storytelling — amplifying Indigenous voices through creativity and color.
